There is about 20 species of daylilies. These are the base for all the numerous hybrids.

Dark red flowers.

Yellow throat.

2007: New this year. No flowers.

2008: Flowered 31st of July.

2009: Flowered 25th of July.

2010: Flowered 31st of July.

2011: Flowered 23rd of July.

Growth and care

'Chicago Apache' grows to about 70 cm. in height.
