Origin

There is about 20 species of daylilies. These are the base for all the numerous hybrids.

Fire red flowers.

Yellow throat.

2005: New this year. No flowers.

2006: Flowered 26th of July.

2007: Flowered 1st of August.

2008: Flowered 26th of July.

2009: Flowered 24th of July.

2010: Flowered 21st of July.

2011: Flowered 25th of July.

Growth and care

'Chicago Fire' grows to about 80 cm. in height.
