There is about 20 species of daylilies. These are the base for all the numerous hybrids.

Violet flowers.

Yellow throat.

2006: New this year. No flowers.

2007: Flowered 3rd of August.

2008: No flowers.

2009: Flowered 19th of July.

2010: Flowered 22nd of July.

2011: Flowered 25th of July.

Growth and care

'Chicago Knobby' grows to about 60 cm. in height.
