There is about 20 species of daylilies. These are the base for all the numerous hybrids.

Flowering

Purple red colour.

The upper petals has a paler stripe.

Pale green throat.

2006: New this year. No flowers.

2007: Flowered 1st of July.

2008: No flowers.

2009: No flowers.

2010: Flowered 28th of July.

'Siloam Royal Prince' grows to about 60 cm. in height.
