Origin

There is about 20 species of daylilies. These are the base for all the numerous hybrids.

Flowering

Wine red flowers.

Sometimes a hint of lavender.

2005: New this year. Flowered 19th of July.

2006: Flowered 21st of July.

2007: Flowered 26th of July.

2008: Flowered 27th of July.

2009: Flowered 7th of August. Moved late summer.

2010: Flowered 16th of July.

2011: Flowered 22nd of July.

Growth and care

'Summer Wine' grows to about 70 cm. in height.
