Origin

The Bearded Irises has their name after the beards on the flowers lower petals.

Tall Bearded Irises becomes over 70 cm. in height.

Flowering

Dark violet to blue colour.

Yellow and white beards.

2006: New this year. No flowers.

2007: No flowers.

2008: Flowered 31st of May.

2009: Flowered 1st of June.

2010: No flowers.

Growth and care

'Night Owl' grows to about 1 meter in height.

It should be re-planted every few years to maintain a good flowering.
