Origin
  • Beardless irises are a diverse group of plants, with many sub-groups.
  • Siberian irises, or asian irises are a group of irises that produce upright clumps of slim, grassy foliage. Tolerates dryer soil than the Laevigata irises.
Flowering
  • Clear violet to blue colour.
  • Cream and yellow in the centre.
 
  • 2006: Flowered 30th of May.
  • 2007: Flowered 31st of May.
  • 2008: Flowered 2nd of June.
  • 2009: Flowered 31st of May.
  • 2010: No flowers.
  • 2011: Flowered 27th of May.
  • 2012:
Growth and care
  • 'Flight of Butterflies' grows to about 100 cm. in height.
