Origin
  • The atragene group is native to the Northern Hemisphere, from Scandinavia, Central Europe, Korea, Japan and Northern America.
  • Pruning group 1. The plants produces flowers on last years growth.

  • Lilac blue flowers.
  • Decorative seed heads in autumn.
 
  • 2004: New this year. No flowers.
  • 2005: Flowered first part of May.
  • 2006: Flowered 20th of May.
  • 2007: Flowered 2nd of May.
  • 2008: Flowered 9th of May.
  • 2009: Flowered 12th of May.
  • 2010: Flowered 21st of May.
  • 2011: Flowered 9th of May.
  • 2012: Flowered 7th of May.

Growth and care
  • Up to 3 meters in height. May be much taller under good conditions.
  • Dead and weak branches is removed in spring.
  • Pruning must be done after flowering. Old branches is pruned back to give new growth.
