Origin	Wild or botanical roses are all the true species that are found in the wild, and sports and natural hybrids of these. 'Rubra' is a variation or sport of Rosa Rugosa. Origin in China and Japan.
Flowering	Single flowers. Dark crimson colour. Good re-flowering. Many red hips.

Growth and care	Scandinavian zone H-7/8. Becomes large shrubs. Can take hard pruning in spring.
