Origin |
- The
historical roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared before
the year 1867.
- The first bourbon rose, Rosa x bourboniana was a
hybrid between the Damascena
Bifera rose 'Quatre Saisons' og the Chinensis rose 'Old Blush'.
It was discovered on the island Bourbon (now Réunion) in the
Indian
ocean.

Growth and care |
- Scandinavian zone H-4.
- Can grow up to
1,75 meters.
- The oldest branches should be
removed every few years, to stimulate new growth.
