Origin
  • The historical roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared before the year 1867.
  • This group has it's name after a rose of the 17. century. Called after the Isle of Portland. The original rose was a hybrid between 'Autumn Damask' and 'Officinalis'.
Flowering
  • Double flowers.
  • Clear rose-pink colour.
  • Good re-flowering
  • Strong, sweet scent.
 
  • 2009: New this year. Flowered 24th of June.
  • 2010: Flowered 18th of June.
  • 2011: Flowered 19th of June.

Growth and care
  • Scandinavian zone H-5.
  • Up to 1,5 meters in height.
  • The oldest branches should be removed every few years, to stimulate new growth.
