modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after
the year 1867. The
"first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year.
- This group contains
Rosa x kordesii,
a rose bred by Kordes,
and it's hybrids.

- The flowers are crimson to red,
and keeps the colour well in full sun.
- Not re-flowering.
- Feeble scent.

Growth and care |
- Scandinavian zone H-6.
- Grows up to 2-3 meters in
