Origin |
- The
modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after
the year 1867. The
"first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year.
- This group contains
Rosa x kordesii,
a rose bred by Kordes,
and it's hybrids.

Flowering |
- Double, red flowers.
- Very good re-flowering.

this year. No flowers.

Flowered 16th of July.

Growth and care |
- Scandinavian zone H-4/5.
- Up to 3 meters high.
- Cut the oldest branches
down to 20 - 30 cm. every few years. Weak branches is removed totally.
Besides this the plant need very little pruning.
