Origin |
- The
modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after
the year 1867. The
"first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year.
- In this group of shrub roses we
find all the roses bred from the start of 19. century and not fit into
any of the other groups. This is a very large group.

Flowering |
- Double flowers.
- The colour is copper and
apricot. Fades to peach and pink with age.
- Good re-flowering.
- Strong spicy scent.

- 2005: New this year. No flowers.
- 2006: Flowered 3rd of august.
The plant was crushed by a falling tree in spring.

- 2008:
Flowered 7th of June.
- 2009:
Flowered 15th of June.
- 2010:
Flowered 25th of June.
- 2011:
Flowered 26th of June.

Growth and care |
- Scandinavian zone H-4.
- Up to 1,5 meters in
height.
- Cut the oldest branches
down to 20 - 30 cm. every few years. Weak branches is removed totally.
Besides this the plant need very little pruning.
