Origin
  • The modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after the year 1867. The "first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year.
  • In this group of shrub roses we find all the roses bred from the start of 19. century and not fit into any of the other groups. This is a very large group.
Flowering
  • Double flowers.
  • Clear yellow colour who fades to cream with age.
  • Good re-flowering.
  • Sweet scent.
 
  • 2003: New this year. Flowered 4th of July.
  • 2004: Flowered 25th of June.
  • 2005: Flowered 30th of June.
  • 2006: Flowered 29th of June.
  • 2007: Flowered 15th of June.
  • 2008: Flowered 26th of June.
  • 2009: Flowered 25th of June. Moved in the autumn.
  • 2010: Flowered 12th of July.
  • 2011: Flowered 28th of June.

Growth and care
  • Scandinavian zone H-4.
  • Up to 2 meters in height.
  • Cut the oldest branches  down to 20 - 30 cm. every few years. Weak branches is removed totally. Besides this the plant need very little pruning.
