modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after
the year 1867. The
"first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year.
- The glauca group containes hybrids of
Rosa glauca.

- Crimson coloured hips.

Growth and care |
- Scandinavian zone H-6/7.
- Up to 3
meters in height.
- The oldest branches should be
removed every few years, to stimulate new growth.
