Origin	The modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after the year 1867. The "first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year. This group consists of hybrids of Rosa rugosa.
Flowering	Double flowers. Pale yellow colour. Not re-flowering. Fruity scent.
	2008: New this year. No flowers. 2009: Flowered 9th of June. 2010: Flowered 15th of June. 2011: Flowered 8th of June. 2012:
Growth and care	Scandinavian zone H-6/7. Up to 2 meters in height.  Cut the oldest branches  down to 20 - 30 cm. every few years. Weak branches is removed totally. Besides this the plant need very little pruning.
