Origin	The modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after the year 1867. The "first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year. This group started with hybridizations between odorata roses and remontant roses. 'La France' belongs to this group.
Flowering	Double flowers. Dark yellow colour. Good re-flowering.
	2009: New this year. Flowered when it was bought. 2010: Flowered 2nd of July. 2011: Flowered 3rd of July. 2012:
Growth and care	Scandinavian zone H-3/4. Up to 1 meter in height. Pruning down to 40-50 cm. for best growth and flowering.
