Origin	The modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after the year 1867. The "first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year. This group started with hybridizations between odorata roses and remontant roses. 'La France' belongs to this group.
Flowering	Double flowers. Crimson red colour. Good re-flowering. Sweet scent.
	2008: New this year. No flowers. 2009: Flowered 25th of June. 2010: Flowered 4th of August. 2011: Flowered 2nd of August. 2012:
Growth and care	Scandinavian zone H-3/4. Over 1 meters in height. Pruning down to 40-50 cm. for best growth and flowering.
