Origin	The modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after the year 1867. The "first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year. This group started with hybridizations between odorata roses and remontant roses. 'La France' belongs to this group.
Flowering	Double flowers. The colour is pink with pale yellow on the outsides of the petals. Very good re-flowering.

Growth and care	Scandinavian zone H-4. Over 1 meter high. Pruning down to 40-50 cm. for best growth and flowering.
