Origin	The modern roses are the roses belonging to groups who appeared after the year 1867. The "first" modern rose 'La France' was introduced this year. This group started with hybridizations between odorata roses and remontant roses. 'La France' belongs to this group.
Flowering	Double flowers. Dark lemon colour. The flowers gets more and more pink colour with age. Good re-flowering. Fruity scent.

Growth and care	Scandinavian zone H-3/4. Up to 1 meter high. Pruning down to 40-50 cm. for best growth and flowering.
